Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park
You’ll start with a morning pickup in Kigali and drive to Akagera National Park. After checking in, enjoy a short sunset game drive near the southern part of the park. Settle into your lodge or camp and enjoy a relaxed evening overlooking the park’s peaceful landscape.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive
Start early for a full-day safari adventure. Drive from the south to the north of the park, covering open plains, hills, lakes, and woodlands. With an expert guide, you’ll have a chance to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, giraffes, warthogs, and more. A packed lunch will be served in the park. Return in the late afternoon and relax at your lodge.
Day 3: Boat Safari & Return to Kigali
After breakfast, head to Lake Ihema for a scenic boat ride where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible range of bird species. After the boat safari, begin your journey back to Kigali with optional stops for local experiences or souvenirs along the way. Drop-off will be at your hotel or the airport.
