Arrive in Akagera and head to Lake Ihema for a boat safari. Cruise across the lake and look out for hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and wildlife along the shoreline.

After breakfast, depart Akagera with your Iriza Tours & Safaris driver-guide and travel north towards Volcanoes National Park.

Arrive in Musanze and check in at your hotel. If time allows, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to learn about gorilla conservation and Dian Fossey’s legacy.

Return to your hotel and relax.

Begin your trek through the forest with experienced park rangers and trackers in search of a mountain gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, enjoy your golden monkey trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park.

Travel along the scenic shores of Lake Kivu before continuing to Nyungwe National Park. Arrive and check in at your accommodation.

After breakfast, head into Nyungwe National Park for an exciting zipline experience, enjoying spectacular views of the rainforest from above.

After the activity, return to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening.
