Details:

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet your guide. Transfer to a comfortable guesthouse or mid-range hotel in the city. Time permitting, enjoy a short Kigali city tour.

Day 2: Akagera National Park Safari
After breakfast, drive to Akagera National Park in the east. Check in to a mid-range lodge near the park and head out on an afternoon game drive to spot zebras, elephants, and other wildlife.

Day 3: Full-Day in Akagera – Game Drive & Boat Safari
Enjoy a morning game drive in the northern savannah, with chances to see lions, giraffes, and more. In the afternoon, relax on a boat safari along Lake Ihema to see hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Depart for Volcanoes National Park, passing scenic hills and villages. Arrive in Musanze and check in to a cozy lodge or guesthouse near the park. Rest and prepare for gorilla trekking.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience
An early start takes you deep into the forest for a guided trek to see mountain gorillas. After an incredible hour with them, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 6: Drive to Nyungwe Forest via Lake Kivu
Travel south along the shores of Lake Kivu toward Nyungwe. Enjoy stunning views and a stop in Kibuye. Arrive and check in at a mid-range lodge near Nyungwe Forest.

Day 7: Chimp Trek & Canopy Walk – Return to Kigali
Rise early for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest. Afterward, walk the canopy bridge for stunning views. Later, drive back to Kigali for your departure or overnight (optional).
